Our Communities for Children program along with the The Benevolent Society are excited to help fund the Port Augusta City Council's Interactive Footpath Art Project ‘Steps to Grow’ 🌈
This innovative project encourages children and families to play and learn together while out walking or visiting public areas, enhancing their experience of everyday outdoors activities. Some of the designs will focus on promoting early literacy and numeracy concepts, some will promote fun physical activity, while others will celebrate the diversity of the many cultural groups that call Port Augusta home.
The footpath designs were installed last week at the following six locations:
1. Adjacent to Wharflands Plaza, 25 Tassie Street Port Augusta.
2. Gladstone Square - Mackay Street
3. Port Augusta Civic Centre, 4 Mackay Street
4. Gladstone Square – Jervois St Playground and Seating
5. Flinders Estate Green Space – 156 Flinders Tce
6. Outside Hancock Stadium, Central Oval, 10 Augusta Tce
